Kit H.
What a wonderful piece to watch. Insane how his career has grown so much over the years. he's been all over the world and started as a small company then grew to a semi big company with a small team but they do big things. Cool how he has over 500 types of typography that he has access to. I really enjoyed his take on illustration.
I enjoyed his personal takes on how he got to where he did and having the background he does. Starting with the military at a young age and then going from there. I liked the biography he did with the poster and using his words in his beard. Something so simple and yet so effective. Typography is used to tell the story and how you want it to be told depends on what type of Typography you use. Typography is used in every day life that you don't even realize you see that influence you every day.
His take on faces is interesting. he likes faces and he looks at a face and says how do i make this different. So he takes them and changes or adds things to make you look at it different and make it unique to a particular product or subject and he uses faces just as much as typography to communicate with people through his design methods.
