Marian Bantjes

Fist off I love ted talk broadcasts so I was super excited to watch this piece. Im with her about wanting to take a personal approach to graphic design. I want my own style and be able to put that in to what a client wants me to do. I think that having some sort of financial stability doesn't allow you to get stressed and in return you can get more creative with everything you're looking for. I like how she has her own personal approach to design and is extremely creative about what she wants to do. 

I enjoy the fact that graphic design gives you the opportunity to be able to create your own style or to even find your own style. I like that you don't need paper in order to make something and that you can use anything that your mind can think of. I really enjoyed her approach to typography and how free spirited she is. 

Interesting that she doesn't like to work in illustrator because she says she can't think compared to when you just start drawing in on paper. Makes sense because its easier to think when I'm holding a pen compared to staring at a computer. One project could launch a career. Thats enough for me to want to get there and I will get there and this piece made me even more excited to get this going for my own future and career.
